I'm looking at grid computing as I have got the data off my wifi network and stored in an ivs file, I am running airocrack-ng and crunch to decript the password but is taking far to long (120 K/S -160 K/S with ten places) so I'm wanting to hook up 4 of my devices as a grid or cluster to speed up the process.

I have looked on google and found MPICH 2 and JPPF and my question is are these compatable with backtrack 5 R2 and the applications within.

I would be running it on:

Acer 5001wlmi (currantly running x64 KDE Backtrack 5 R2 all working inc wifi)

Turion 64 mobile technology ML-28 / 1.6 GHz
RAM 1.5 GB
DVD±RW (+R double layer)

2 x Dell Mini 10v

Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz

HP Proliant DL380 G3 Server
Xeon 2.4Ghz
RAM Not sure... find out when I run it up.

as I say I'm not after the wifi side of it as thats working on the 5001wlmi.

I'm wanting to split the workload of the brut force attack.

Thank you for any info.

P.S. I'm not sure if this should be posted hear or in the experts section.
