I have recently installed BT 5 on an old HP ze4210 and am trying to get an Orninoco Gold Classic pcmcia card into monitor mode.

Do I need to install patched drivers for this card to get it into monitor mode? Why am I seeing 2 different firmwares in dmesg? This is a very old card and I would have thought they would come with the BT5 distro... What am I'm missing here...?
