hey guys
i'm pretty new to linux and i have an issue with my wifi driver.

my sys:
alienware m17xR3
wifi: broadcom bc4313 [14e4:4727]
Backtrack5R1 64 bit on live usb drive (same problem with 32 bit version)

so i already notice that my wifi wont work cuz i need to install that driver i got from http://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php
so here is the problem:
i unpack the driver with tar xzf file.tar.gz
after that i type make but all i get is this error code:
root@bt:/media/TREKSTOR/wifi/64# make

KBUILD_NOPEDANTIC=1 make -C /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build M=`pwd`

make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-source-'

WARNING: Symbol version dump /usr/src/linux-source-

is missing; modules will have no dependencies and modversions.

CFG80211 API is prefered for this kernel version

Using CFG80211 API

/media/TREKSTOR/wifi/64/src/wl/sys/wl_cfg80211.c: In function ‘wl_inform_single_bss’:

/media/TREKSTOR/wifi/64/src/wl/sys/wl_cfg80211.c:1817: error: too few arguments to function ‘ieee80211_channel_to_frequency’

make[2]: *** [/media/TREKSTOR/wifi/64/src/wl/sys/wl_cfg80211.o] Error 1

make[1]: *** [_module_/media/TREKSTOR/wifi/64] Error 2

make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-source-'
make: *** [all] Error 2
so i dont get the wl.ko which i need to proceed :/
could anyone tell me what that error code does mean?
