    Default sslstrip.log

Hello guys, i have a question.

I simulated an hacking process to my tutorial. I wrote about arp spoofing and ssl traspassing and I used sslstrip and arpspoof for this matter, i used two virtual machines for this, one running windows XP and another using Backtrack 5 R1 well i spoofed the routers mac and then all packets redirected to the router would pass by the bt machine first, well i have managed to get the password. But i have a problem reading the log.

My password have numbers, letters and a "," character. And what happens is that my password in the sslstrip.log appears like passwd=12345%2Cabcd. The %2C is where i have the "," character. Anyone knows how can i get the password to appear normal or characters like "," are not supported by this software. Thanks

That's normal, for being transmitted, the comma is "translated" in hex. You can use tr for instance. But think of a bigger picture, and you'd need any char to be translated, that would just be a bore. So just report to an ASCII table
Running both KDE and GNOME BT5 flawlessly. Thank you !
