    Default Arp Request

Hello to all participants of backtrack community, i would like to get an answer for a little question that i have. During a network attack to my network, when i try a WEP attack im playing around with the associated client computer, simulating some traffic in the network, while im waiting for an ARP request, well it takes a little while untill i get that request. I would like to know if this is normal and if i can force an Arp request to be made with the "attacker computer". Thanks a lot

Yes....ARP traffic is not instantaneous...Of course you can encourage it by pushing certain packets around and such. Check out the aircrack-ng webpage they have a whole tutorial on aircrack/aireplay/airbase-ng
