    Default BT5 install problems

I can't get BT5 to install on USB stick or SDHC card.
Partitioned and formatted as per How to's section
    rsync -avh /cdrom/ /mnt/sdc1/
    grub-install --no-floppy --root-directory=/mnt/sdc1 /dev/sdc

    All seems OK

Problem there is NO /mnt/sdc1/boot/menu.lst file to edit
Where does the menu.lst come from?

I have no problem with bt4. I can boot sdhc card and I get grub> but cant find the commands to do it manualy if it's possible.

    any pointers pleas. Many thanks

Afaik, BT5 uses Grub2, so there is no menu.lst
You can edit /boot/grub/grub.cfg, or the files that are making it (detailed in the file).
Running both KDE and GNOME BT5 flawlessly. Thank you !
