Default Returning back to Gnome Network Manager

I honestly HATE WICD, and for some reason it doesn't connect to wireless. I wanted to go back to default Gnome Network Manager. I downloaded it, and after installing, I noticed that it does not detect any of the networks, not wired nor wireless. How do I have a complete return to Gnome Network Manager?
    I'm using Gnome 32.

Hi download Synaptic from repositorie : apt-get install synaptic.
    then , : apt-get install network manager.
, actually there are few, and if i am not wrong, under BT5 tools there must be a wifi radar, if not download it from synaptic, it works great.

    Hope this helps.
