    Default Backtrack 5 - OpenVAS 4 Installation

today i tried to install OpenVAS4 via OBS (for Ubuntu 10.04) as described here:
Everything works great until i come to the point starting the greenbone security assistant.
I started it with the gsad command, but that doesn't work. I even got no error message.
After that i started the openvas-check-setup script as described here:
The output of the script said, that i need to start greenbone security assistant using the gsad command. But always when i use the gsad command nothing happens.

Has anyone already installed OpenVAS 4 in Backtrack 5 and is it working ?

    Thanks for your help!!

Well we pulled openvas due to some problems. You are free to try and install it, or wait until we get the package fixed and re-submitted to the repo.
To be successful here you should read all of the following.
