    Exclamation BackTrack 4 R2 | Couple Problems/Questions

    So I have a Dell Inspiron Mini 10. It had XP on it, then Windows 7, Then Ubuntu, back to XP, then now it has BackTrack 4 R2 on it. I have a couple problems with getting it to work on this netbook. Here is the specs of this laptop:

    * Notebook type Netbook

    * Processor Intel Atom Z530 / 1.6 GHz

    * Installed Size 1.0 GB

    * Hard Drive 160.0 GB – 5400.0 rpm

    * Display Type 10.1

    * Graphics Processor / Vendor IntelGraphics Media Accelerator 500

    * Capacity 56.0 Wh

    Operating System / Software

    * OS Provided Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition SP3

    Here is some problems that I am having:
    1)The doesn't get past step 7 of 7.
    *It says "Advanced" and gives to notice of the hardware changes. But the "Forward" button is not clickable. I have the option to "Quit" or to go back.

    2)No wireless is showing up
    *The drivers don't seem to be there. I tried to use the Wicd Network Manager but there "No wireless networks found." I don't know how to install the wireless drivers on this netbook.

    3)The graphics settings are messed up.
    *It seems that the resolution is messed up. Everything is zoomed in. if I open up a window, it cuts off a lot of it. Sometimes, the "Exit", "minimize", and other buttons are not viewable. I am unsure how to fix this.
    I am very new to BackTrack 4 and Linux. Sorry for all the questions, but any help is greatly appreciated. I do need some help getting this laptop to run BackTrack 4. Please, if you want to email me my email is Mod edit: We do not need your email.. Don't send any spam, you will be blocked. Thanks in advanced.

    1. Any warnings/errors ? Have you followed the official guides ?
    2. Have you started the networking ?
    Also Backtrack requires advanced Linux knowledge, you might consider using a more friendly distribution.
