I've been playing around with the suite of aircrack-ng tools that come with the Back|Track 4 distribution lately and have stumbled upon a bit of a snag.

I'm running an Asus EEE 701 4g. It uses the mac80211 drivers for my wifi card.

The problem is when I try the ARP request replay attack my card doesn't seem to be sending any packets.

What follows is my input then the computer output.

aireplay -3 -b (target MAC) -h (my MAC) mon0

13:05:15 Waiting for beacon frame (BSSID: TARGET MAC) on channel 8
Saving ARP requests in replay_arp-0419-130515.cap
You should also start airodump-ng to capture replies.
Read 239 packets (got 0 ARP requests and 0 ACKs), sent 0 packets...(0 pps)

The number of Read packets steadily goes up while the sent packets number, ARP requests number, and ACKs number stays at 0.

I've done a -9 injection test and the computer says that everything should work. I checked if I left MAC filtering on or off and it's off. I can't figure out what is going wrong.

Could someone out there help me please?

Thanks in advance!
