    Default Backtrack 3 (USB) MadWifi help

    Hey Backtrack users,

    I am a complete Linux noob, and i was wondering...How do I install MadWifi into Backtrack 3 on Usb with savable changes? if not to difficult to produce can sum1 make and/or point me toward a step by step guide?

    The drivers have already been installed. You need to find a specific wifi card that is compatible with backtrack for it to work as well. I am using the Netgear WG111v2 USB wifi adapter. You can get it on ebay for about $15 US. Also there is a list of compatible hardware
    Also starting out with an easier distribution is also recommended. PM for links to helpful sites as my lack of current posts prevents me of aiding you further.
