    Default Boot screen

    Hi guys.
On one of the systems in my house, the green-ish screen that scripts run through when you boot up does not appear. Instead it's a less appealing plain window that text just runs through. This is the only system in my house that I have this problem with.

Sorry if this is already on the forums, but I could not figure out what to search for to find anything.

    Thanks for any help!

Is BackTrack installed on the hard drive of this system, and did you forget to run fix-splash at the end like it says in the installation guide?
Capitalisation is important. It's the difference between "Helping your brother Jack off a horse" and "Helping your brother jack off a horse".

The Forum Rules, Forum FAQ and the BackTrack Wiki... learn them, love them, live them.

    Yes, and yes.

Thanks for your time, and sorry for not reading the documentation!
