    airodump-ng <interface>
When a client tries to authenticate itself or is connected to the AP, it will appear at the bottom of the terminal. Or use Kismet, with a certian network highlighted press "c" to view connected clients. You don't need the key for this.

It would also be a good idea to lock down airodump-ng onto a single channel and even to the actual AP itself. Using airodump-ng without these options will give you the clients as well, but in channel hopping mode it will take longer to locate each of them. Filtering out only the target AP will also make it easier for you to get the relevant information:
    airodump-ng –c 1 --bssid 00:11:22:33:44:55 <interface>
Simply replace the 1 with the channel the AP is broadcasting on and 00:11:22:33:44:55 with the MAC address of it.
