    Default No Network Interface

    Hi!

    I want to try this security tools but it doesn't want to work. I have download it burn it but when I boot from the cd and I want to see the network interfaces in the KDE its said there is only the loopback interface. What should be the problem. My computer is a fujitsu siemens v3205 the wireless card is a 3945 intel card and the ethernet is a intel pro 100ve. Can somebody help me?

    Have you checked your wireless card is compatibile with Backtrack for a start?

    yes I did.
    And its compatible.
    I tryed something : I typed in /sbin/lscpi and I get a list from my devices and there is my network in the list.
    01:00:0 Network controller:Intel corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (rev2)
    the system see my card. But the driver not loaded or I don't know.
    Can anybody help?
