Default backtrack 2- Madwifi installation error

I am using Backtrack 2 and trying to install Madwifi-0.9.4 and i make ; install
and i get the same error message "install: missing file operand"
I am using the Atheros AR5007 802.11b/g WiFi Adapter and I have been looking around for a solution for the conflict without purchasing a new card.

    Default user error

"make install" space between the two words nothing else your computer is probably currently reading them as two separate commands, instead of one command with an operand.
