Default I installed Backtrack 3 on eeepc. How I remove programs?

I installed Backtrack 3 on eeepc. How I remove programs?

As some of you may know the eeepc only has a 4GB drive so I want to get rid of things I don't need from the Backtrack install such as Kopete etc.

Also I have noticed when I open applications because it is quite a small screen I am always having to move or drag them to reach the Apply button; is there away for KDE to detect the screen size and arrange the windows so they align up to the KDE taskbar and not below it so I can see the entire window.

    Thanks alot

additionally there are a few more theads in the forums but the those are the most relevant ones.
If needed just enter "eeepc" without quotes into the search box and it will show you the others.
    good luck
