Those modules you inserted into BT3 are older modules hence not supported.
Hint: different kernel version.
I've burned the new BT3 with pilotsnipes' modules (0.9 AND the 1.0dev versions of aircrack + ALFA patches) and I'm getting this error when I "sh wlan0up":
insmod: error inserting 'ieee80211_crypt-rtl.ko': -1 Invalid module format
insmod: error inserting 'ieee80211_crypt_wep-rtl.ko': -1 Invalid module format
insmod: error inserting 'ieee80211_crypt_tkip-rtl.ko': -1 Invalid module format
insmod: error inserting 'ieee80211_crypt_ccmp-rtl.ko': -1 Invalid module format
insmod: error inserting 'ieee80211-rtl.ko': -1 Invalid module format
insmod: error inserting 'r8187.ko': -1 Invalid module format
I used to use BT2 with these 3 modules from and my ALFA AWUS036H was working fine.
Anyone know what's wrong?
Thanks

Even if you use the good drivers, you will see those messages.I use AWUS036H alfa and what i do is :i plug in and off the card several time and execute sh wlan0up command. After 2 or 3 try, it works.
I have personally used BT3b without any extra drivers for my Alfa AWUS036H without any problem whatsoever for quite some time now, so I can confirm that it does indeed work.
