Default -=SOLVED=- umount problem with BT3 when i poweroff

Hello all. I've installed BT3Beta as my main OS.It's the full install too on my hard driver. When i shutdown my laptop using the 'poweroff' command it shuts down without umounting my hard disk and every time i start up my laptop it does a scan disk as it was unmounted incorrectly. Is there anyway that i can make backtrack umount my HDD correctly?

    Thanks people

    Finally! An E-Z one!

    Download this>>

    http://www.mediafire.com/?copwexmk1yw

its a copy of my rc.6 from my bt2 install. Its located in your /etc/rc.d/rc.6 in your old bt2 install (if you still have access to it)

Download this file and overwrite your bt3 rc.6 in your /etc/rc.d/rc.6.

I don't know if mine will wok for you, but if you have access to your old bt2 install ...just copy it over to your bt3 rc.6

    And reboot.

Let me know if mine fixed your problem.

    Default Thank You!!!

Hahahahhaha---Your suggestion worked like a charm!

I always assumed this was because I used the ext2 fs (I had bt|2 on a ext3 partition and never had this issue)

    AWESOME!! THANK YOU AGAIN!
