alfa cuts out when using heavy apps like ktorrent

for some reason when i'm using a heavy app like ktorrent after a while my card cuts out and i have to reboot my card in order for it to work again. its doing my head in and i dont know if the network card is faulty. I'm using the drivers tht r included in the bt3 cd. anyhelp people?

Its not the network card that's faulty, its probably the drivers (double check with dmesg)

i think its sorted now. I've installed the latest kernel and the drivers including the patch :-D. I'll let you know if i run into tht problem again. Thanks for replying kakashi!
