Very nice. I have most of these but looks like theres some new stuff, To bad if a new person see's this they will be stunned with information over load
i had some sparse time and thought about building up a bookmarks list for all the stuff you and i could find helpful. That was the point when i stumbled upon vulnerabilityassessment's penetration testing framework. So thinking about using this as a base....
i took some time to organize it and added a few more links (thanks to purehate for the linux basic links, i think it was "ze Frenchie" and others for the 0-day rss feeds). This list is not completely tested and not perfect, some links simply lead to the tools download page or directly to the download, but i still find it useful.
.
so here it goes, feel free to download and use it, don't abuse it.
make suggestions to improve it. i will expand it and post new versions. And i would like YOU to scroll through your bookmarks and search for other useful stuff to add to the list.
Have fun!
Please scroll through the thread for the actual version

i like to contribute more to the community and i definitely will keep this list up, took me some time to get this, and i had to remove some stuff because the other links were in german. Next thing will be a BackTrack Section, where i would like to add links to the useful threads list, other useful things (eristic was faster here, the HCL List on B|T wiki, the slacks modules link (where i got my additional software for B|T, and more and more and more.... so if you got any useful/interesting stuff to add, mail me!

This would probably be a useful bookmark for the list although with good administration it would be rendered useless
Default Password List
http://www.phenoelit.de/dpl/dpl.html
Obviously intended for the newbies
I think the main people to blame there are the ISP's and WRT/AP and other wireless equipment manufacturers that either send the equipment out with at best WEP 64bit or no protection at all and no instructions/warnings telling the suckers getting this equipment how to improve it and what they should consider a minimum security level ie WPA/2 AES TKIP and what is and isn't a good password or passphrase.
It boils down to the right people are not doing the right education and people are unfortunately finding that out the hard way.
Alot of them say that 64bit WEP is secure to their customers
added. Thx!Default Password List

i don't think it's that simple. problem is that many people don't even have a hand for their computers, why should they even know the difference between WEP, WPA, TKIP, WPA2 and so on. Even if you try to explain it, this is like reading chinese for them. I remember trying to explain the differences to my father... no use....It boils down to the right people are not doing the right education

update for the bookmarks,
got some backtrack 2 and linux basics integrated, also the useful firefox plugins and some minor additions (like "howto build a cheap directional antenna").
as i said, if someone got some more links worth adding, please let me know.
