Boot hangs on Floppy fd0

I've been having problems with booting from the Live CD. Whenever I try to boot it gets stuck on Floppy Drive fd0, which is weird because I don't have a floppy drive. The laptop has an SD card reader and stuff, but it doesn't appear as fd0, so I don't know what's going on.

I'm running an Inspiron 1521:

2.0 Ghz AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile
2GB RAM
ATI Radeon X1270 (X1200 chip)
DVD-RW drive
No floppy
160GB HDD

Does your keyboard lock indicators flash? Have you tried using boot hacks?
