    Default I need some help installing Nvidia Graphic Card Drivers

    hey i have been trying to install the latest nvidia graphic card drivers and im having some real trouble i was wondering if any one had a walk through or a quick tutorial they could give me

    Can you give us a quick run-through of what you've already tried and errors you have received.

    For starters can you give us a printout of your xorg.conf, the ouput of glxinfo, and the output of dmesg after you get any applicable error?

    Well I have not really done anything yet I tried the ctrl alt backspace and then running sh then the nvidia pakage name, but it said i had to have my kernel compiled and thats all I have tried, Im really new to linux and I am still trying to figure out how to do everything.
