Default boot issues after installing backtrak 3 to hdd

I have installed backtrak 3 beta to a clean hardrive I formated it to linx ext3. When I reboot I get a message like this, setup union directory (using aufs)
mount: Mounting aufs on union failed: No such device
Fatal error occured - can't setup union (aufs)
    * Something went wrong and we can't continue. This should never happen.
    * Please reboot your computer with Ctrl+Alt+Delte .....I have looked till my eyes bleed to find a cure for this I found 1 post about this problem, but I couldn't really understand it. Could someone please help me fix this problem step by step.

    Thank you
