Is it there anything besides HOTSPOT SHIELD which is free, i mean WiFi VPN.Because anchorfree is no more providing unlimited service now.So....

Yea, openvpn is fairly painless to setup. You'll be vpn'ing to home, so there's another advantage. You'll always have access to your files at home from pretty much anywhere.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69

I looked on that website and can't make out exactly what you're referring to. Can you tell us what that "wifi vpn" means. Is it some kind of toolbar or something?

I wouldn't trust that any more than a regular wifi hotspot connection. Who are you vpn'ing to? Do you trust them? What are they doing to the data once it gets to their connection?

I'd trust it less than a regular hotspot. At least with a regular hotspot, you can monitor the packets the same as anyone else, and your paranoia can be on a moderate level. With this, you're essentially VPN'ing all your traffic to a third party that you don't know, who's saying "trust us." For all you know, it could be a front for Russian gangsters or (even worse) the IRS.

Yeah, I thought this program sounded a little fishy myself.
Probably best if you just setup a vpn from your house or something and connected to that instead.
