bt2 to hard drive wont boot...
guys i installed bt2 to my hard drive but now it wont boot... when i was booting of the cd i had to type bt acpi=off to get it to boot all the way.. when installed on drive doesnt let me do that... can someone point me in the correct direction.. thanks

It is covered in the forum quite a few times.
Basically
chroot into the installation
edit lilo.conf adding acpi=off
apply the lilo changes
reboot
done

but i cant get to lilo to change config... it shows goes bt................................................ .. bois check successful then from splash screen to black screen.. i can get a command prompt

i have searched and searched....i can not get this to boot for nothing... ok i have xp and bt2 on 1 drive ... i can successfully boot xp... but when i try to boot bt2 just freeze and black screen..it has to be the acpi=off line cause i have to do that with the live cd... and after i edit my lilo.conf.. i get error line 44 "acpi" the line i am inserting is acpi=off does it matter where i am putting it? i am putting the line under the linux config. thanks for all the help

ok i finaly go ti working by adding the line to lilo.. i couldnt find it searching the forums so maybe this will help someone in the future this is the line i added,, append=" ro quiet splash acpi=off"
