TOR/Privoxy:how to define the country of exit node

does somebody know how to define the country(location) of the Tor exit node?

If I am reading your question correctly, you want to know the location (country) of the exit node when you are using Tor. In that case, someone else please correct me if this is wrong, but couldn't you simply go to any of the many sites that will tell you your IP address?

Or, are you asking, how can I set Tor to use a specific exit node in a specific country?

I'm not sure you can do what (I think) he wants to do, anyways.

I don't think it can be done either and I can only think of a few reasons why someone would want to do such a thing. None of them seem legit so I would ask the OP to explain what it is exactly he is trying to do.

You mean, for example, you want to attach the Pentagon, but you want your traffic to appear to come from China?

Tor is configured to use random proxies afaik. So you don't have much control. Unless you can find a way to set a manually configured proxy in tor then you not going to have much luck.

There's also serious security issues with Tor so I wouldn't recommend using it.

Are you referring to the fact that the endpoints can be sniffed (which is more about users not understanding how anonymizers work than the tool itself), or has something else been found to be a problem?
