I´m trying to use a USB dongle DWL-G132, with Atheros chipsset, and can´t get the ath0 device to be recognized.

I have read many posts and MadWifi docs, and tried many things, but I think I'm either missing a step or I have a hardware conflict.

The drivers "seem" to be there and I get no errors in dmesg (should I look somewhere else?).

This is mi code. First I see that the usb is recognized as device 3.

bt ~ # lsusb
Bus 2 Device 1: ID 0000:0000
Bus 3 Device 1: ID 0000:0000
Bus 1 Device 3: ID 2001:3a03 D-Link Corp. [hex] DWL-G132 (no firmware)
Bus 1 Device 2: ID 0951:1603 Kingston Technology Data Traveler 1GB/2GB Pen Drive
Bus 1 Device 1: ID 0000:0000
Bus 4 Device 1: ID 0000:0000

Then I check if the module is not loaded

bt ~ # lsmod
No ath* modules are loaded

Then confirm that no ath0 or wifi0 devices are there

bt ~ # iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

Then I try to load the modules

bt / # /sbin/modprobe -v ath_rate_sample
insmod /lib/modules/2.6.21.5/net/ath_hal.ko
insmod /lib/modules/2.6.21.5/net/wlan.ko
insmod /lib/modules/2.6.21.5/net/ath_rate_sample.ko
bt / # /sbin/modprobe -v ath_pci
insmod /lib/modules/2.6.21.5/net/ath_pci.ko

And run dmesg (I took ok some code to make it more readeable and fit in this post)

bt / # dmesg
