Hello everyone, this is my 1ST post on the forum after 3 weeks trying to reinstall Bluez.

Here is the situation, by mistake while trying to edit
/usr/etc/bluetooth/hcid.conf I delete some folders, (don't remeber which ones) to copy them back from the live CD.

When I try to execute for instance SDPTOOL I get
sdptool: /lib/tls/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.4' not found (required by sdptool)

I tried to download again Bluez from the official site and when installing bluez-utils-3.27 with the suggested commands

./configure --prefix=/usr --mandir=/usr/share/man --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var --libexecdir=/lib

here everything goes fine, then when I execute make && make install

I got the following error message

make[2]: Entering directory `/root/Desktop/Bluez/bluez-utils-3.27/network'
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I.. -I../common -I/usr/include/dbus-1.0 -I/usr/lib/dbus-1.0/include -I../eglib -Wall -O2 -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -MT bridge.o -MD -MP -MF .deps/bridge.Tpo -c -o bridge.o bridge.c

make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/Desktop/Bluez/bluez-utils-3.27'
make: *** [all] Error 2

I google out about `SIOCBRDELBR' but did not found too much info.

I am using VMWARE SERVER I don't know if that helps, but I think is the root cause of the issue.

If anyone could help out to solve this It would be really appreciated.

Thanks Everyone
