damn.. wel then ill just go buy one then whats a good usb card that works the best and is the most popular.. i looked on the compatibilty site and their is to much to look at kinda
That's interesting. I am sitting here connected to my hotels WLAN using an Intel 4965 AG wireless card on BT3 which is installed on my hard drive.
After booting the computer, iwconfig shows wlan0 as being in the managed mode and I simply issue a ifconfig wlan0 up and then run Wireless Assistant and pick the WAP that I want connect with from the list chosen.
I have not had success in connecting with my WPA Enterprise network at work but I can connect to both my WPA-PSK networks at home.
As far as I know the interface lo is the loopback interface and can't be used to connect externally, but then again I may be wrong. It would not be the first and most likely not the last time.
Are you using VmWare also DaKahuna?
NoCover - I have an Alfa WIFI USB, it works great with BT3... Also I'm pretty sure all USB wifi adaptors will work with VMWare (though someone may correct me on this)
knew that, its my luck who kicks me everytime.lol.
