Cant get original bootsplash back after HD install
I know I know this has been covered 1000 times... but even after reading everythign I can find... using the splash command and editing lilo.conf and issuing lilo -v still no luck.....
Issued this first:
splash -s -f /etc/bootsplash/themes/Linux/config/bootsplash-1024x768.cfg > /boot/initrd
edited lilo.conf:
boot = /dev/hda
prompt
timeout = 15
initrd = /boot/splash.initrd
#bitmap=/boot/splash.bmp(left from original)
change-rules
reset
#vga = 769,771/773/792
vga = 769
image = /boot/vmlinuz
root = current
label = BackTrack
read-only
then issued lilo -v to write to MBR
and rebooted... Still have ugly standard blah RED lilo screen...
Any ideas?
Thanks
