    Default mounting aufs failed

    Hi all,
    I've installed my BT3 on a 2GB pen.
    Partitions are:
    1GB Primary bootable Vfat32
    1GB Primary ext2

On the first partition is th BT3 installation that works fine
On the second there's just a "change" directory

    My sylinux.cfg entry is:
    APPEND vga=0x317 initrd=/boot/initrd.gz ramdisk_size=6666 root=/dev/ram0 rw changes=/dev/sdb2 nosound autoexec=xconf;kdm

When I boot with this option (persistent change) I get this error:

    mounting aufs on union failed

    Someone understand why?
    thanks, A

    Default

    try it this way

    APPEND changes=/dev/sdb2 vga=0x317 initrd=/boot/initrd.gz ramdisk_size=6666 root=/dev/ram0 rw nosound autoexec=xconf;kdm

Also after you change that line you should re-run the bootinst.sh script.

Also I had to manually make a directory called changes on the ext partiton.

    Hi pureh@te,
I was wrong with the name of folder (it was change and not the RIGHT one changes)
    Thanks a lot, A.

YOU MUST MAKE 'changes' folder or you will get that error 'mounting aufs on union failed'
