    Smile Backtrack 4 and Screen

    Hello.
I want to disable when the screen goes blank after 5 minutes when i don't use my mouse.
In other platforms i know that this is happenig, it's called power management.
I don't want everytime to move the mouse so that the screen turns on.

It's hard to tell but it sounds like you are trying to get the computer to suspend or something after a period of inactivity.

It goes without saying but look through the forums. I recall seeing something along the lines of what you are looking for a few months ago.

I think kpowersave would do what you're looking for.
