You could try some of the cheat codes.
That might help you.
I am using LiveCD on my laptop Compaq V6065ea (Turion X2, 1GB ram, nv 6150, sata 160gb, Broadcom wifi).
Before, when I was using BT2, bootup process was under 2 minutes. Now, in BT3Beta it takes almost 10 minutes.
Boot up stops at following lines:
3 minutes: Serial: 8250/16550 driver $Revision blahblabh, URQ sharing enabled
1 minute: ide0: BM-DMA at ......., Bios settings: hda: DMA, hdb: PIO
1 minute: ide0 at 0x........... on irq 14
1 minute: scsi2 : sata_nv
1 minute: scsi3 : sata_nv
Can I make it any faster? I intended to install it on my hdd but if this is how fast it will go, I have my doubts.

Didn't it occur to you that maybe there's something wrong going on here!?
No, it shouldn't sit there for minutes at a time at each stage!
Please supply some basic details:
Did you check md5 of the iso?
Did you try re-burning it at slowest possible speed?
Can you check the disc on another machine (although not always an indicator of disc/burn quality)
As already mentioned, check out the cheatcodes....
Check out the wiki's HCL's.....
The md5 and recorded CD was fine. I tried to use cheat codes, but although I was typing them in in the bootup line, I couldn't get them to work.
Anyway, everything works fine with the full version of BT3.
