alfa usb disconnects after short period !

hi

i have a big problem
everytime when i want to check a system etc with metasploit autpwn
or anything else that depends on a continously connection,the alfa usb disconnect after a period of maybe 5 sec
less or more
its very frustating me, because there is no way to check systemholes if the connection is beeing interrupted every 5 sec :C

btw i use bt 3 dev (of course gg),bt is installed on a usbstick with a sec partition for changes
i used the original bt3,only some stuff like ezpawn is installed,no new drivers
the alfa works under montior perfectly
only under managed mode this error often appears
hopefully someone has the same problem and we'll find a way to fix that damn sh..

I had the same issue with the atheros drivers and I simply reinstalled them and the problem has been resolved.

i always use the fresh bt 3 version
so why should i reinstall the driver?
the driver wich is installed is the newest is gess
so when i have to reinstall the driver,wich one do u mean?
rtl8187?
wich version? v5?
i have downloaded the aircrack package shown on this forum
(aircrackdev + alfapatch..)
i have extracted the rtl8187 stuff
but i cant install the driver
i ve tried makedrv and wlan0up but didnt work
always got errors that something is missing
dont know the exact desciption
something like ie....ko
always stuff with .ko

and how do i have to reinstall them
could ju tell me a link to a tut ?
the tut on bt3 wiki site didnt work
or shouls i have to install the old driver?
