I did this before. I run into problems on the first command. . .
fdisk /dev/sda
unable to open /dev/sda
/dev/hda first IDE disk
/dev/sdc third SCSI disk
/dev/eda first ps/2 ESDI disk
fdisk /dev/hda
so. . . after installing. . .
virtualbox still boots from iso file. . .
I did all this once before and it did nothing. . . still boots from the iso file. . .
Remove the iso pointer from the VM configuration or take out the disc if you're using a CD
dd if=/dev/swc666 of=/dev/wyze
after i unmount the iso. then i start up backtrack it wont boot. . .
When i boot from the iso. . . i can only get backtrack to boot in "bt3 graphics VESA mode (1024x78)"
could this be a problem. . .
I have the same problem. Booting from ISO is no problem, but booting from PC shows a black screen with a white underline in the upper left corner.
VirtualBox also has ca. 50% CPU usage.
