BT3 - my wireless card isn't found
I have installed (real) BT3 beta to HDD, but it doesn't think I have any wireless devices :-(
I have a Dell M65 laptop with Intel 3945ABG wireless card.
I have tried running /usr/bin/ipw3945.sh and /usr/bin/ipw3945i.sh but they both give the following errors:
[*] RemovingIPW3945 drivers
ERROR: Module ipraw does not exist in /proc/modules
ERROR: Module iwl3945 does not exist in /proc/modules
ERROR: Module mac80211 does not exist in /proc/modules
[*] Reinserting IPW3945 drivers (normal mode)
/usr/bin/ipw3945.sh: line 7: modprobe: command not found
If I then try to run modprobe manually, I get:
# modprobe ipraw
FATAL: Module ipraw not found.
# modprobe iwl3945
FATAL: Module iwl3945 not found.
Backtrack3 uses the illwifi drivers which are located in the /usr/src/drivers directory
I have /usr/src/drivers/iwlwifi-1.0.0/

The INSTALL file in this directory tells me to install the microcode file into /lib/firmware (it's already there), but I don't have a /etc/hotplug directory and therefore no firmware.agent file!
Is this needed ?
I'm at a loss as to what else to try. My BT2 install worked fine without me having to build or configure anything!
I found the following line in dmesg:
iwl3945: version magic '22.214.171.124 SMP mod_unload 486 ' should be '126.96.36.199-smp SMP mod_unload 686 '
