Hi
I have got the live cd working fine.
Now I would like to install BackTrack to my laptop.
I have followed the instructions in that I found on this website, downloads a PDF with the instruction in there.
Now when i reboot and remove the cd the message that greets me is :-
Error loading operating system.
Does anyone have any helpfull advise.
I should mention that I am using the BT3 iso and that my laptop is a HP NX6125.
Cheers

I think no os has been install into your hd..so you need to reinstall it again...you can search in this forum how to install bt3...You can run bt3 live cd again and look to the partition that you install if there have bt3 install or not...Also give info how you make the partition..
Is any screen showing up before?
Did you make sure to install lilo?

Thank you for your replys.
I have been told my another member that i should try dual booting with another system.
I have found from this that there was something wrong in the way i set up the lilo.
However upon rebooting the laptop i know get a mad kernel error and the system stops. Replacing the harddrive with a preinstalled version of Winxp also goes wrong. Some how it looks like the onboard graphics have been corrupted.
I am looking into this error now.
Cheers for all the help.
