In one of the menus there is a tool called smb4 or something like that. It does just what you need.

I have my small home network in place. 2 boxes runnning XP SP2
1 Lap top running backtract 3 ( thanks -=Xploitz=-)
Is there anyway for me to see my files on my 2 winblows boxes from my laptop with BT3 installed

Do you mean if a hecker some how managed to crackad my WPA password and connected to my rounter he can see my files on my computer or my laptop which is connected to the same network ?Originally Posted by pureh@te

Turn the computers off and uplug them.
Yes if someone can connect to your network the potential lies that that same someone could then "see" your files. This also depend on a lot of variables as well.

Yeah, it's in "KDE Button>Utilities>Smb4k", or just type smb4k in the terminal. It's pretty easy to use.

Just use the command line tools to list the windos shares
smbclient -L <windows hostname>
then use the mount command
smbmount //<windows hostname>/<windows shared dir> <linux mount path>
mine's something like:
smbmount //HOMEBOY/dnloads /mnt/samba
then when you're done just unmount it
smbunmount <linux mount path>
smbunmount /mnt/samba
