X11 Tcp listen
Hi all,
how do i get X11 to listen on tcp port 6000 like bt2 ?

I believe the option has to be enabled in the kernel. That would be more of a xorg forum type question though.

aah never mind got it!
i wanted to remote connect to the X server on backtrack but since tcp port 6000 was not listening that's why my previous guestion..
but got is working, since X doesn't explicit need to listen on this port and since using ssh for connection is much safer....
just need to modify the /etc/ssh/sshd_config
and make sure that X11Forwarding is set to yes
now beeing able to connect to x trough ssh
