Fake Authentication Problems
Hello guys. I'm antomic and I have gotten kind of good at cracking WEP now. I understand how to do it and I have a couple times. The problem is with injection. I have tried for about an hour trying to get my AP to accept my fake auth packets. It won't. All I get is a repetitive screen of "Sending Authentication Packet" All the settings are correct, i think.
I am currently running BT3 Beta on a bootable disk on a macbook pro with a WUSB54GC Ralink network card. I'm sorry if this is an obvious question, but I've tried for an hour and i still can't get my AP to accept any injected packets.
Provide some info and someone may be able to help.

oh sorry. My bad. It was late last night and I was half awake. Here's where I run into trouble...Originally Posted by balding_parrot

(it goes on and on)
but sometimes i get
Sending Authentication Request...
Authentication Successful
Sending Association request....
Sending Authentication request....
Authentication Successful....
(etc etc etc) It repeats the authentication request and when it does get past that stage, it never gets past the sending association request...
So that's how far i got. Sorry if it seems extremely nooby, but I'm just stumped
oh and I also have installed WEP, not WPA.
