BT2 needs 2700MB so BT3 is going to need quite a bit more.

    What the??

Why was I thinking that bt3 was only 1 gig?? Oooohhh. OOOpppssss!! I forgot that when everything is uncompressed that it swells considerably. Well, thats not the first no0b mistake I've made with this. It was my first time to ever try to install b|t2 or 3 on my USB stick earlier today. Oh well. Live and learn.

Might want to try the other options from the list. If I remember correctly, there are about 7 options to chose from when booting from live disk.

you can create iso from USB Version (Extended) simply by call bt3/make_iso.bat

patch is need, change line for this one:

    Code:
    BT3\tools\WIN\mkisofs.exe @BT3\tools\WIN\config -o "%1" -A "%CDLABEL%" -V "%CDLABEL%" .
    it's @BT3 insteed of slax\******** (if I remember correct)

    Yep!!

edit your make_iso.bat in notepad and where it says

    Slax\tools\WIN\mkisofs.exe @Slax\tools\WIN\config....blah, blah,bla[/code]

    Change it to

    BT3\tools\WIN\mkisofs.exe @BT3\tools\WIN\config....blah, blah,bla

save it then just do this...

    5) go to the place where make_iso.bat is. So that would be
    a) cd User
    b) cd Marten
    c) cd Desktop
    d) cd bt3b141207
    e) cd BT3
    6) make_iso.bat c:\target.iso or whatever you like... maybe d:\bt3.iso . Thats up to you.
    7) just wait until it finishes.
    8) use .iso for vmware or burning cd/dvd.
