    Default Pidgin IM doesnt include IM (icq) support?

    prob not a priority for anyone just really curious ... beta does include latest 2.3.1 version of Pidgin but it doesn't support IM or ICQ .. whereas the official pidgin list icq as supported ....... is there a reason?

    also, how do I remove the installed pidgin so I can install the official one. thanx so much
