Type in toor where it says password. Then update the password. Use the passwd command. man passwd for more info. Use also the search feature this has been covered already.
login: root password: toor won't work on clean install
i did a dual boot install vista/backtrack 4 os shown in the tutorial video.
when i completed step 4/7, the instalation proces directely whent to step 7/7 not letting me give in a login or password
i rebooted my machine
then backtrack asks me for login and password so i typ in
login: root
and when i come to password, i'am unable to typ anything!
so the only option i have is
login: root
password:
wich prompts me as invalid
and asks me to re-enter a login and password wich resulsts again in
login: root
password:
can somebody help me with this please?
