It dreams about a world when all computers will be able to talk to each other, but has no idea by what means or how and if this will ever happen.
    But it still dreams.

I've used the "Internet" back in good old days of 9600bps dialup via Dos 6.22...

For Wireless does PCDos have support yet?

Another "oldtimer"... (I use the word loosely, i'm not quite 30 yet!)

    2400baud Modems were fun... not.

But, you transferred text, and that was about it.

Ah, the joys of the hayes command set... (Google it n00bs)

512K of RAM, a hoooooge 5MB HD and an 8088 (the 16bit internal/8 bit external chips that was 8086 compatible, but not as expensive...). To think I was awed at the upgrade to an Apricot Xen Xi (PC Compatible) with a 8Mz 286 and 20MB RLL drive.

I feel a lot older than my years now... thank you so much for mentioning old modems

300 baud modem on a modified C64. (I started hardware hacks early).
A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.
