Dell Inspiron 1545 eth0 missing?

understand Broadcom network cards aren't supported, so I'm not expecting my wireless to work, but ethernet not working either? I'm not sure what else to try here if I can't get the integrated ethernet card to work >_<

Anyone else experience this issue?

Looks like your Eth0 is :
Marvell 88E80XX 10/100 Ethernet Controller DELL Inspiron 1545
Which is the same as my pc (working)

Did you try

ifconfig eth0 up
dhclient eth0

in a shell ?

The wireless card is working for me after the kernel updating.
Updating BackTrack to 2.6.34
