Nice read! I ecspecially enjoyed the article on SNMP Enumeration and Hacking. It's surprising how many devices are out there in use that offer SNMP. Though not many people give it much thought or even know what SNMP is for that matter. Your article gives a nice example of how informative such devices can be. There are still a vast amount of people out there using WAP11 and similiar devices. Of which are ever so poplular due to the "Dirty Power Hack".

Anyways, good article and the references on:

    http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/

    Are also very informative.

PS - I'm surprised that there hasn't been any tutorials on the forum that demonstrate SNMP insecurities

Very nice read! Thanks for sharing.
Shows a great example of social engineering and how it can render some of the most restrictive networks extremely vulnerable.

Netcat, WOW is all I can say. Extremely versatile tool and a very good example of that.

The SNMP article is great, I think understanding it top to bottom could prove to be a very useful to any pentester. Lots of information to be gained from SNMP.

Am I reading the dates correctly? latest article on 2/11/2004?
Is muts (mati) posting things like this more recently that we might be able to view? I tried to check out his blog but it was down.

That hak.5 show has quite a few interesting topics. Its over an hour long but still cool to watch.

    .

If you are talking about mut's blog I think, and this is only a guess that there is no time for him to update it.
