Bkhive

hi, I'm not new to backtrack entirely
my friend introduced me to it about a
year ago, I didnt use it for much though

I just recently decided to download BT2
sine I'm not a big fan of testing betas I
usually wait for full releases, mainly because
I'm not a programmer and wouldnt serve
much help to debug anyway

now, I used bkhive+samdump2 on my own
computer to test it out on, and they worked
brilliantly... however once running bkhive I got

sys key: blah blah blah blah

error writing to file


what exactly does this mean? and how can it be
fixed.... I cant run samdump to get the hashes
without the boot key

What do you mean by that? First you say it's working and then you say it doesn't?

Where do you try it out? On someone elses machine?

is it trying to write to some folder that is not writable?
