USB card not capturing data/iv's please help

I'm using a USB DWL - 122 and backtrack 2.0 running in vmware

Everything has setup fine and the card is running in monitor mode but when i run airodump no data is captured from ap's. The only thing that increase's is the beacon count

Any help would be greatly appreciated

So which chipset does the other client have?

Would be good to know or well it will be different if you don't.

it sound's to me like you are to far from the ap i would try the chopchop attake

The problem is you are not capturing a arp request. You have two options. A)create your own packet or B)deauth the other client. when the other machine reconects it will generate a arp request.

There a thousands over thousands threads about injecting WEP and there are also very good and easy to understand tutorials in the tutorial section of BT2.
