All fixed now, nvidia configured and compiz working on hd install.

Hi Guys,
It appears i can only post in the newbie section, which to be fair is probably the best place for me as im no linux pro.
Basically i used to use bt2 and know how to crack wep etc, but im still useless on linux.
I recently installed the stripped down cd version of bt3 to my hard disk, and have it dual boot with vista.
I now want to use compiz-fusion, i fixed the gslapt update problem and installed it, but it didnt start working or anything.
I gues i need to install nvidia drivers, i got some in lzm format from the wiki, but being a tard i have absolutely no idea what to do with it. I managed to exctract it so i have a folder called nvidia, which contains other folders (dev, usr etc.) but i dont know how to install it.
Can anyone help? Sorry for the big post!

Yeah thats how i did it, downloaded the bt kernel and took it from there.
My original post was because, being a noob, i didnt know what to do with a .lzm.
Balding parrots solution seems to be the easiest.
Yeah that was good, but yes i did download the BT3 Kernel and put it
in the directory it needs to be in, and then i compiled the nvidia drivers
and also the nvidia configuration manager which is good to have afterwards.
