External HDD Full install

Hello

On the web, I found how to install Backtrack on the internal HDD, on USB (live) without and with persistent mode (for me, the persistent mode never work ...), live CD, ...
But I never found what I want : the full install on a external HDD (so, naturally with persistence).

Ubiquity seen not to be able to do it.

I think I could use the USB persistent install tutorial to help me, but it's not a full install.

Any idea to help me ?

I don't use the lilo (last step) but grub-install, and a manual config.

Work fine.
